Cain's weekend with his Daddy

I'd like to think Cain missed me while I was in Miami but after looking at the pictures Brad took while I was gone I'm not sure Cain missed me at all! Before I left for my trip I had so many people ask me who would keep Cain while I was gone or was my mom or Brad's mom going to come in town to help Brad out. I think Brad thought it was crazy that everyone was asking these questions. I thought it was SO SWEET that Brad was looking forward to his weekend alone with Cain and that Brad knew he could handle everything by himself. And I was also very excited to see that Brad took pictures of their first weekend alone.

Months before my trip Brad kept telling me he wanted to take Cain to the zoo while I was gone so that's exactly what they did.

Look it's Cain & his Daddy! Just kidding.

And Cain looking at the alligator

"Hey Dad, this is fun!"

Cain trying to figure out how to eat a rice crispy treat.

I know Cain went to the zoo with his Daddy, and he got a balloon at the grocery store, and had his first happy meal but by looking at the next picture it's plain to see that Cain REALLY MISSED me while I was gone.

Hi- I am over for Hope in the Waiting. My husband and I are native Tennesseans who live in Huntsville, AL, now. We have been watching the flood with shocked disbelief. Thankfully, our family and friends are OK but so many people have lost so much. I am so sorry about your home, but happy that you and your adorable little boy are OK. Your attitude about the flood and your son's heart challenges is inspiring. I am a new follower. God bless and take care, Katie
